It looks like he’s dropping new music at the end of this week, (friday) and backing it up with a PR blitz next week before his birthday.
Footage has emerged of the Beatles legend debuting a brand new song called "Come Home to You" during his recent surprise show at a small pub in Liverpool. "This hasn't been released yet. ... It's the first time we played it for anybody," McCartney says before he and his band count into the appealingly choppy rocker.
Paul McCartney is celebrating his 76th birthday in style and meanwhile, in the middle of a news report about the show and song from The Daily Edition, the reporter states that McCartney will release a new album "this Friday" (apparently meaning June 15). There has been no official confirmation of this report yet or any word on the record's title or track listing. It's more likely tht the single will be launched tomorrow and the album later on.

The day after the Liverpool show, McCartney shared a mysterious hand-drawn image across all of his social media platforms, and since then he's been sharing daily uncaptioned recording studio photographs.
The Beatle was spotted in Liverpool around the city with James Corden before surprising fans at the Philharmonic pub with a gig by playing a new song. Crowds gathered in Hope Street in afternoon as Paul McCartney played a gig as part of his surprise visit to Liverpool.
McCartney’s nostalgic return was filmed for a segment for “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” The last time he visited this spot was in 1964, as The Beatles were achieving international superstardom.on
McCartney had previously explained why he was in no rush to visit the three-bedroom house that he shared with his father, mother and younger brother Michael. “I don’t know whether I will be a little worried that it’ll be too nostalgic or whether there will be a sadness about it that I don’t associate with it at the moment. But I think I will one of these days,” he had said.
McCartney usually visits the city for the graduation of the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA), of which he is a co-founder, and those visits are usually known in advance. “
