Westminster police say they've been called from a hotel on Park Lane at 9.05 am on monday 15th. And to have seen on the spot the death of a woman of about 40 years. Dolores O'Riordan. For now, investigates an "inexplicable" death. Maybe an illness, maybe something else. It will take weeks to get the results of a complete toxicological examination.

When his father died in 2011, Dolores waited with great anxiety for the moment when she would see that person at the funeral. When the day came, after nights of nightmares, the monster came up to her and apologized.
Dolores believed that she had locked him out of his life. Instead it was still there. And Dolores fell into depression and anorexia. "I hated myself," he told Egan, "and I knew why, and I knew why I wanted so much to disappear."
The Irish Times noted that the Cranberries had been forced to cancel tour dates in 2017 due to medical issues O’Riordan had related to “a back problem.”
But in May 2017, O’Riordan also opened up about her recent diagnosis of bipolar disorder in an interview with Metro.
Bipolar disorder is a mental illness associated with unusual shifts in mood, energy and activity levels and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks, according to the National Institutes of Mental Health.
O’Riordan said she had struggled with extreme mood swings throughout her life.

There have been times when I’ve struggled. The death of my father and mother-in-law was very hard. Looking back, I think depression, whatever the cause, is one of the worst things to go through. Then again, I’ve also had a lot of joy in my life, especially with my children. You get ups as well as downs. Sure isn’t that what life’s all about?"
