The three July shows are set to be the five-piece’s biggest headline gigs to date. They’ll begin at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on July 8 before heading to Leeds’ Millennium Square on July 9 and then Alexander Palace Park in London on July 10. Leeds indie rockers English Teacher have been announced as support on all three dates.

The band appeared in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge yesterday (October 24), where they took on Empire Of The Sun’s 2008 single.
Wet Leg’s take transforms the track from its psychedelic origins to a Strokes-indebted guitar anthem.
It comes weeks after Robbie Williams covered their track ‘Chaise Longue’ during his own Radio 1 Anthems Live Lounge appearance, changing some of the lyrics to jokingly nod to his career.
The artist altered a line in the song’s first verse from “I went to school and I got a degree,” to “I joined Take That and got a pop star degree.” Later on, he interpolated some lines from his own hit, ‘Candy’ and the “Hey, ho, let’s go,” refrain from The Ramones‘ ‘Blitzkrieg Bop’.
In other news, earlier this month Wet Leg shared a new, self-directed video for ‘mangetout’. The track comes from their latest album, ‘Moisturizer‘, which was released earlier this year.
The follow-up to their self-titled debut came out on July 11, and soon saw them reach the top of the UK Albums Charts – beating off competition from Oasis.
To celebrate the milestone, the band took aim at the Britpop giants with a tongue-in-cheek post. They uploaded a photo of Teasdale holding a vinyl copy of the album while wearing an Oasis-labelled T-shirt. However, instead of the Gallagher brothers, this t-shirt features a still from the 1994 comedy Dumb and Dumber.
