Bianca was born in Managua, Nicaragua and met Mick in France and she quickly got pregnant with their daughter Jade. When Bianca began a relationship with Mick, she said she felt it was important to maintain her individuality. She wanted others to see her as her own person, not an extension of a celebrity.
“And I had my mind set that I was not going to become Mrs. So-and-so — regardless of who I was married to. I was going to be an individual with my own personality, and I was going to do as I wanted and as I liked,” she told Vanity Fair in 1986, adding, “I was not ready to make any compromises then. I knew much less than I do today.”
They wed in May 1971 when she was four months along. The ceremony was in Saint-Tropez.
Bianca is Mick's first and only legal wife. Unfortunately, her new husband did not seem to feel the same way. Bianca believed Mick, like many of his peers, wanted a submissive wife.
Together Bianca and Mick were the toast of NYC in the 1970s as they party hoped with Halston and Diana Ross.
“I was joking with [Rod Stewart’s ex-wife] Alana Stewart the other day about writing a cheek-in-tongue book on How to Survive Marriage and Divorce to a Rock ‘n’ Roll Star,” she said. “We were saying what are the qualities required: submission. It’s probably the most male-chauvinistic-oriented society. A rock star is the worst husband a woman could have.”

For the wedding Jagger chartered a plane to fly 75 friends who only learned of the wedding the day before, including Paul McCartney and his family, Ringo Starr, Peter Frampton and Ronnie Wood from the UK to Saint-Tropez.
Jagger and his beloved faced their first major obstacle the morning of the wedding, when Bianca discovered that according to French law, the couple had to make clear “what property they held in common. ”Put a bra on! Obstacle number two also came courtesy of French law, which declared that before the church ceremony — which Jagger had choreographed with the pastor — there had to be a civil ceremony at the town hall, which was open to the public.
Jagger had been hoping to keep the paparazzi at bay, but even the town’s mayor couldn’t override the law or refuse entry to the hundreds of photographers who had flown in with no idea of their good fortune. “When the bride and groom eventually arrived, late and already perspiring, pushing their way as best they could through the crowds of pressmen, holiday makers and rubberneckers,” Hepworth writes, “they appeared harassed and faintly shocked.”
