Taylor Swift's latest Easter egg appears to hint at another new album

Taylor Swift has sent fans into detective mode once again

After a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment in the finale of her Disney+ docuseries End of an Era appeared to hint that another new album may already be in the works.

At the end of Episode 6, a title card flashes on screen summarising Swift’s post-Eras Tour milestones. One line in particular has set the internet alight: “On October 3, 2025, Taylor released her 12th studio album. The biggest album of her career.” After a dramatic pause, two more words appear: “To date.”

The tease arrives as Swift continues to ride the enormous success of The Life of a Showgirl, her current chart-topping record, which the docuseries also celebrates. The album has already broken modern-day sales records and spent multiple weeks at No. 1, cementing its status as a career-defining release. But the phrasing of the title card — especially the pointed “to date” — has Swifties convinced she’s signalling that album 13 is already on the horizon.

The cryptic clue also comes after Taylor made it clear she has no intention of fading from the spotlight anytime soon.

Appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the global superstar addressed critics who suggest she should “give someone else a turn".

The pop megastar announced that the first two episodes of the six-part series would premiere on Disney+ on December 12, with the subsequent episodes arriving in pairs on December 19 and 26.

However, it has now been confirmed that fans will be able to watch episodes five and six two days early, on Tuesday December 23. Disney+ confirmed the change while sharing a “first look” at episodes three and four.

“As an early gift to fans around the world, the final two episodes will premiere early on December 23 at 12am PT, only on Disney+,” a post from the streaming platform read.

Florence Welch is part of episode two, with footage of her preparing to join Swift on stage for a surprise performance of ‘Florida!!’ in London. The behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage shows Welch learning the choreography with Swift and her dancers, and using the stage lift for the first time. She also appears as a talking head discussing her reflections on the appearance.

This week Taylor Swift appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Dec. 10 where she clapped back at critics who would prefer that she exit the spotlight.  She reveals the 1 Eras Tour Outfit that Saved Her from ‘a Lot of Physical Pain’ During the Show.

"I got to wear this very sparkly, Versace bodysuit," she said during her guest appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

The 14-time Grammy winner explained the invincibility she felt upon slipping into the sequined statement, even if she wasn't feeling her best.

"Any time I put it on, I could be like coughing from a horrible virus, I could be like stomach virus, I could be like aching," she said, adding, "I was constantly in a lot of physical pain, but when I put that on, I was just like, 'No, this is popping. I'm doing it. We're going.' "

The pop superstar, 35, recalled the toll the three-plus, hour-long Eras Tour concert took on her body throughout its nearly two-year-long run, and cited one specific outfit that saved her from feeling its physical effects.

Swift pinpointed the Versace number that she wore for the Lover album portion of the tour, which featured a bodysuit intricately decorated with custom embellishments that sparkled in pink, blue, purple and orange crystals and sequins to represent songs' dreamy aesthetic.
