The Fender Limited-Edition Johnny Marr Signature Special Jaguar, the latest collaboration between the indie legend and the guitar manufacturer, features custom-wound Kent Armstrong Johnny Marr single-coil lipstick pickups, a Jaguar bridge with Mustang saddles complemented by a vintage-style ‘floating tremolo’ tailpiece, and Marr’s personal wiring scheme.

Fender Adds New Stratocaster and Telecaster Models to Its American Vintage II Lineup.

For electric guitar obsessives, drawing inspiration from the craftsmanship of a bygone era is usually a winner, GuitarWorld report With its American Vintage II series, launched in 2022, Fender promised to do exactly that – zooming in on period-accurate bodies, necks, and hardware, as well as premium finishes and year-specific pickups that capture the unique voicings of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.

Adding to its burgeoning line, Fender is now introducing the American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster and 1965 Stratocaster, both of which the legacy guitar brand confirmed at this year's NAMM.

As the name implies, the new Tele harks back to the very first blackguard Telecaster that rolled off the line in 1951 – after the now-infamous saga in which Fender renamed its Broadcaster following a cease and desist from Fred Gretsch Mfg. Co.

Recently Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC)   announces the launch of the Vintera II Series. This latest addition to Fender's historic portfolio of electric guitars marks a significant update to the original debut of the Vintera Series, starting with  '60s Stratocaster® for

This new line of vibrant and highly playable guitars pay homage to the iconic Strat® and Tele® guitars of the 50s, 60s and 70s while simultaneously nodding to some of the rare gems that have studded the Fender lineup such as the

Mustang® and Bass VI. To celebrate the new series, Fender is debuting a full creative campaign that captures the nostalgic style and sound of the "golden age" of Fender and highlights vintage-inspired takes on fan-favorite models. The campaign will also feature an all-star roster of multigenerational artists including noise-rock trailblazer Thurston Moore and The Revolution's Wendy Melvoin, as well as indie phenom Snail Mail and Grammy-winner Madison Cunningham, as well as era-inspired artists vignettes and more.
