Sir Mick, who last performed with the Rolling Stones in 2024 in Missouri, sang the folk song Handsome Molly with the band to admiring pubgoers.
In video obtained by The Sun, Mick, who has not played live with his band since 2024, belted out the folk song Handsome Molly – changing the lyrics to be about Dublin instead of London.
He previously covered the track in 1993 on his solo album Wandering Spirit.
One pubgoer told The Sun: "We were sitting right by the band when a small group wandered over towards the musicians.
"I caught a glimpse of one of them from the side and said to my mates, ‘Wait… is that Mick Jagger?’
"A few moments later, someone hopped onto the piano, and Mick just started belting out some lyrics.
"The most surreal part was that almost nobody seemed to realise it was him. There were no crowds and you could really tell just how much fun Mick was having."
The Half Moon is an intimate Irish pub on St Clement's, famous for its vibrant, late-night traditional music sessions.

This week, "In the Stars" lands on two U.K.-based tallies for the first time, and it wastes not a moment in climbing all the way to the highest rung. "In the Stars" debuts atop both the Official Vinyl Singles and Official Physical Singles charts.
As "In the Stars" arrives at No. 1, the Rolling Stones collect a fifth champion on both the Official Vinyl Singles and Official Physical Singles rundowns. The group has previously led the charge with "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," "Ride 'Em on Down," "Living in a Ghost Town" and most recently "Angry." That latter cut served as the first single from the outfit's album Hackney Diamonds, which dropped in 2023 and marked a comeback after more than a decade of relative quiet when it came to recording, especially original material.
The rock legends are preparing to release their 25th studio album ‘Foreign Tongues’ on July 10 via Polydor/Universal Music and it is set to feature guest appearances from Paul McCartney, Robert Smith, Steve Winwood and the band’s late drummer Charlie Watts.
The record’s lead single is ‘In The Stars’, and now the band have shared the video, which has been created by Deep Voodoo using deepfake technology to transform the Stones into their ‘70s selves, as they play the track alongside musicians and dancers from across the eras, all united by the band’s timeless hedonistic energy.
The video stars Marty Supreme’s Odessa A’zion, who has said: “Are you kidding me? It’s my dream. The first record that I ever got that I listened to from start to finish was ‘Tattoo You’. I’m obsessed with The Rolling Stones. This is in my bucket list for sure.
The project, set to be released on 10 July, was produced by Andrew Watt and features contributions from The Beatles legend McCartney, The Cure's Robert Smith, and Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer, Chad Smith.
Foreign Tongues, which boasts 14 tracks, sees The Rolling Stones reunite with producer Andrew Watt, who previously helmed the chart-topping Hackney Diamonds in 2023.
In a statement, Jagger reflected on making Foreign Tongues, “I love doing these recording sessions in London at Metropolis. It was a very intense few weeks recording Foreign Tongues. We had 14 great tracks and we went as fast as we could. I like the room there as it’s not too big so you can feel the passion in the room from everyone.”
Richards was equally enthusiastic, adding, “The Foreign Tongues album has a continuity from Hackney Diamonds and it was great to be working in London again, and to have that London vibe around us. It was a month of concentrated punch. To me, it’s all about the enjoyment of it.”
At the launch party in Brooklyn, New York later in the evening, Richards recounted how McCartney was working in a nearby recording studio in London when he popped in and made an offer to collaborate on a song.
"Paul really wanted to jump in there; he was next door at the studio. There was no intimidation from Paul," recounted Jagger, while Wood joked: "He wanted to tick that box. He said, 'Now I can say I've played with the Rolling Stones! Wow!'"
