She will performing “America the Beautiful” along with the Armed Forces Chorus and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club immediately before Trump takes the oath of office to officially become the 47th President of the United States.
It appears that Carrie and opera singer Christopher Macchio are the only artists who will be performing during the ceremony, so it’s no doubt an honor for the American Idol alum.
Of course, as you can imagine, some of her fans aren’t exactly thrilled that Carrie will be performing at Trump’s inauguration ceremony.
