Mattel partnered with The Beatles to introduce a series of Hot Wheels cars inspired by the covers of five classic Fab Four albums, and now a new collection of Hot Wheels has arrived saluting five more albums by the legendary band.
By far the most powerful of the 1960s pop music British Invasion, The Beatles soared to unparalleled heights of fame and admiration. Dubbed the “Fab Four,” the band has had an honored few unofficial “fifth Beatle” members. Our third Pop Culture mix of 2019 officially features five fabulous Hot Wheels castings!
Check out images of the cars at HotWheelsCollectors.Mattel.com.
The deco and blister cards for these five editions each pay tribute to one of The Beatles’ stellar albums. Each edition features full-metal construction and Real Riders wheels. Getting your hands on all five is your ticket to ride!
The toys feature designs inspired by the 1963 U.K. album With The Beatles, the U.K. version of 1965’s Help! soundtrack, 1966’s Revolver, and 1969’s Yellow Submarine soundtrack and Abbey Road.
Each car’s packaging includes a blister card replicating the album cover that corresponds to the vehicle’s design.
The car models are based on different types of Hot Wheels: With The Beatles is a “Quick D-Livery” model; Help! is a “Custom GMC Panel Van”; Revolver is a “Combat Medic”; Yellow Submarine is a “Deco Delivery”; and Abbey Road is a “Volkswagen T1 Panel Bus.” (SOURCE Rock107.com)

The Beatles’Christmas Fan Club Holiday Recordings Presented Together on Seven Colored Vinyl Singles with Original Artwork
The Beatles’ annual holiday tradition of recording jolly Christmas messages for fan club members was an important part of the band’s relationship with their most ardent supporters, affectionately referred to by them as “Beatle People.”
Spanning 1963 to 1969, The Beatles’ holiday recordings were originally pressed on flexi discs and mailed to fan club members each December.
Never released beyond the fan club until now, The Beatles’ seven holiday messages have been newly pressed on a rainbow of seven-inch colored vinyl singles for The Christmas Records box set, to be released worldwide on December 15.
The limited edition collection presents each vinyl single with its original flexi disc sleeve artwork, accompanied by a 16-page booklet with recording notes and reproductions of the fan club’s National Newsletters, which were mailed to members with the holiday flexi discs.
