Watch Bob Dylan and Neil Young Duet for First Time Since 1994

Rock legends performed “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” at Kilkenny, Ireland’s Nowlan Park on Sunday.

The rockers co-headlined a UK gig for the first time as the sun set over London's Hyde Park on Friday.

Bob Dylan and Neil Young wrapped up their co-headlining show at Kilkenny, Ireland’s Nowlan Park Sunday evening by performing “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” marking the first time the two have shared a stage since a show at New York’s Roseland Ballroom in 1994. Quality video has yet to surface, but Young posted a segment of the song on his Instagram page you can see right here.

Dylan and Young have been criss-crossing Europe for the past few weeks on separate tours. They didn’t meet up until a co-headlining show at London’s Hyde Park on Friday evening. They disappointed some in the audience that night by not playing anything together even though they did stellar sets on their own.

"I've never played in daylight before!" joked Young, who went on stage first, in Hyde Park- London- adding "it's great to see everybody."

The event, which was originally billed as part of the Barclaycard presents BST series, went ahead as a solo concert without any sponsorship.

That's after he refused to perform at a festival bearing the name of what he called "a fossil fuel-funding entity".

65,000 people attended the mammoth sell-out event, mostly grey-haired dads having the time of their lives

In a black T-shirt, check overshirt and hat, teh icon genuinely looked like he was having a good time. The biggest cheers of the set came for Rockin In The Free World, its soaring and lengthy guitar riffs delicious under the setting sun.

Next up at Hyde Park was a man who needs no introduction. He came on stage to Ballad Of A Thin Man, before playing It Ain’t Me Babe.

Dylan, who plays with his band,  close the show, although the precise billing has yet to be confirmed. It is set to be the first – and possibly last – occasion that the two performers, famed for providing the soundtrack to a generation over 50 years, have shared a stage in Britain.

His voice was patchy, almost growling, sometimes indistinguishable. There were some songs I caught about one word in five. Bob would be murder to have a phone call with.

But what did I expect? The man is 77. And what do I care? The man is a legend.

Dressed in a grey diamante suit jacket and wide brim black hat, Dylan sang Highway 61 and Make You Feel My Love.

Interestingly, and somewhat bravely, he reinvented many of his classic tracks, presenting the crowd with something new. It worked. His show felt fresh.

For some, Bob Dylan is the greatest singer-songwriter in the history of popular music. Others might push the claims of Canadian troubadour Neil Young. Now UK music fans can decide for themselves when the two legends play a unique joint concert next Summer. Dylan, 77 and Young, 73, will co-headline the British Summer Time concert
