Legendary Musician To Ride in Fastest Seat in Sports with Castroneves
Legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi will be a special guest of Meyer Shank Racing and SiriusXM at the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season opener, the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding on March 9-10, with a variety of activities that include a ride from a fellow legend in the Fastest Seat in Sports.
Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner and MSR minority partner Helio Castroneves will drive Grammy Award-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Bon Jovi in the Fastest Seat in Sports, a high-speed thrill ride around the 1.8-mile temporary street circuit that will lead the starting field to the green flag for the first race of the 2024 season.
The Grammy Award winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will make his IndyCar debut in a big way on the March 9-10 weekend. In collaboration with Meyer Shank Racing’s co-primary sponsor, SiriusXM, Bon Jovi’s SiriusXM channel, Bon Jovi Radio, will be featured on the side pod of Felix Rosenqvist’s No. 60 Indy car for both the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg and the $1 Million Challenge at Thermal (March 24) according to forbes.
In addition to seeing his name on the IndyCar grid for back-to-back races, Bon Jovi is set to ride in the IndyCar Fastest Seat in Sports at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg which will be driven by four-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Helio Castroneves.
