Taylor Swift’s music banned in Philadelphia ahead of Travis Kelce game .Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs play the Philadelphia Eagles this Monday
A radio station in Philadelphia has temporarily banned Taylor Swift’s music until after the visit of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs are set to play the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL on Monday (November 20), and the local station Q102 has said that no songs by Swift, who is in a relationship with Kelce, will be played until at least Tuesday.
“Q102 is punting Taylor Swift from the radio station for the entire weekend because while Q102 loves Taylor Swift, we can’t get enough of her, this weekend it’s really important we show our support for the Birds,” said Nugget, one of the station’s hosts, to CBS News Philadelphia.
Taylor Swift gushed that it was "unreal" to win 10 prizes at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.
The 'Karma' hitmaker won 10 prizes, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist, and was the biggest female winner of the night.
She is now tied with Drake, who scooped five prizes at Sunday's (19.11.23) ceremony at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena, as the artist with the most wins in the Top Artist category.
Another category of people who can no longer stand ' I win everything girl' are Beatles fans, who see a historic record broken, denying the Fab 4 from making history with their 16th No. 1 album.
Taylor Swift has broken The Beatles' long-held chart record for having the fastest run of three number one albums.
Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) holds on to its place atop the Official Albums Chart for a third week, denying The Beatles an extension to their record-breaking Number 1 album tally.
Taylor’s third week at the top means The Beatles’ reissues of their classic collections 1967-1970 (affectionately known as the ‘Blue’ album) and 1962-1966 (the ‘Red’ album) finish the week at Number 2 and Number 3 respectively, following a close race to the top; this marks a return to each album’s original peaks on their release in 1973.
While they may not be adding another to the rather impressive list, The Beatles do still hold the title of the act with the most Number 1 albums in the UK of all time, with 15.
