Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, James Taylor & more for Biden-Harris Inauguration


 Bruce Springsteen to the list of celebrities at Joe Biden’s inauguration. Primetime TV special, hosted by Tom Hanks, that will air Wednesday night after Biden’s swearing-in at the U.S. Capitol.

Jon Bon Jovi, Demi Lovato and Justin Timberlake will all perform, organizers previously announced. Clemons and Timberlake will sing their “Better Days,” which they wrote.

Lady Gaga she’s going to sing the National Anthem at the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris next Wednesday (January 20), Variety reports. Her performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” is billed alongside live music from Jennifer Lopez and other artists who will be announced in the coming days. A virtual parade and other live-streamed events are also planned. (Pitchfork)

The show is set to take place on the West front of the Capitol. How last week’s riots and the National Guard presence will affect proceedings remains to be seen.

On the campaign trail last November, Gaga stumped for Biden at a drive-in campaign event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she gave a speech and performed “Shallow” and “Yoü and I.” Back in 2016, she sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. “I am looking forward to touring again soon, but I have to be with my doctors right now so I can be strong and perform for you all for the next 60 years or more. I love you so much.”

The singer’s Little Monsters were quick to leave messages of support in the comments section, writing: “Keep it up baby! Keep shining like you always do! You’re so strong and have a beautiful soul! Do whatever it takes to feel better! We love you and support you!
