David Crosby Calls For Pro-Biden Benefit Featuring Bruce Springsteen, CSNY, The Eagles, Jackson Browne
David Crosby is calling for a benefit supporting Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden that would feature Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Crosby Stills, Nash & Young, The Eagles, Jackson Browne and other artists.(Forbes)
Crosby, 78, floated the idea during a series of Tweets on Sunday. There was no immediate response from any of the artists he mentioned, and no evidence that the concert was being planned.
Still, there are nearly five months before the election.
Come to think of it …Bruce ? …what’s up ? ….you are a decent man …will you stand up against this and speak out ? …
How about a tv special with you and Estreet and CSNY . For Biden

“Most people at my age are either lazy or they’re just pulling the handle trying to get another hit,” he added. “They feel that maybe they’ve said everything they want to say. They also just don’t work at it. I’m not smarter or better than they are. It’s just that the songs are coming to me.” (Rolling Stone)
As for Springsteen, he campaigned for Barack Obama but has not yet endorsed Biden. In 2016 Biden endorsed Springsteen for President.
“The middle class would have the best chance with Springsteen,” Biden said. “He understands issues facing working Americans.”

Crosby again apologized via Twitter to Young for his comments about Young’s wife, actress Daryl Hannah, that caused a split between the former bandmates.
In 2014, Crosby called Hannah a “purely poisonous predator.”
Eight months later, he apologized on The Howard Stern Show, but the damage was done and Young indicated they would never play together again.
