The “One on One” show, which has been touring Europe, the Americas and Asia for the past year, is a lifetime retrospective that takes McCartney from his pre-Beatle days through his subsequent projects like Wings and his many post-Beatle albums.
“Yesterday,” “Let It Be,” “Band on the Run,” “Eleanor Rigby,” “Live and Let Die,” “Hey Jude,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “FortyFiveSeconds” (a collaboration of McCartney and Kanye West, recorded by Rihanna) are among the songs on the roughly 40-tune set list, which has remained fairly constant — with occasional surprises — since the tour launched in April 2016.
Paul McCartney will play drums as the big special guest featured on the Foo Fighters next album “Concrete and Gold”
Special guest wil be Paul McCartney in ‘Concrete And Gold‘ which was announced earlier this year and will be released on September 15.
“Paul McCartney plays drums on one of our songs,” Grohl told ET Canada. “He’s a pal. We’ve known him for a long time. He’s great. He’s the most wonderful person in the world. He’s a great guy.”
He denied it was Adele – who Kurstin also produces – or Taylor Swift. Other guests on the album include the Kills and Dead Weather singer Alison Mosshart, and Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman, who Grohl apparently spotted in the car park of the recording studio.
