Paul McCartney e Ringo Starr incantano Los Angeles

Tutto Esaurito per vederlo esibirsi a Vancouver  e a Los Angeles, dove per l’ultima data del tour Ringo è salito sul palco a suonare Sgt Pepper’s, è una testimonianza di quanto la “Beatles Mania” sia potente e duratura ancora  oggi.

Yup. So this happened. Sir Paul and Ringo. Dodger stadium magic.

Ringo è stato ospite speciale del concerto che Paul ha tenuto lo scorso sabato al Dodger Stadium di Los Angeles.

Il pubblico presente è andato in visibilio quando i due si sono abbracciati sul palco e Paul ha dato un bacio sulla testa all’amico e collega.

‘Ti voglio bene amico’, si sono detti a vicenda.

I due hanno poi cantato due pezzi classici dei Beatles: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band e Helter Skelter.

Ringo Starr era raggiante all’evento e a fine esibizione ha gettato le sue bacchette da batteria nella folla.

Alla stessa serata ha partecipato pure Joe Walsh degli Eagles per un triplo assolo di chitarra su un medley di Abbey Road.

‘Arrivederci ragazzi, arrivederci America. Rimane solo una cosa da dire: ci vediamo la prossima volta’, ha detto Paul McCartney al termine del concerto.

The new Freshen Up tour launched in September in Canada winning incredible reviews. In October the tour headed to the US for Paul’s headline performance at the 17th annual ‘Austin City Limits’ festival. Earlier this month Paul completed the Japanese leg of the tour.
