It might look like just another ordinary house from the street, but this upgraded Sherman Oaks bungalow packs in some rockstar-worthy amenities. That’s probably why it appealed to legendary guitarist Joe Walsh, who recently shelled out $2.3 million for the property.
Nestled privately behind walls and gates, the property features a Tuscany-like front yard with carefully manicured hedges and an olive tree. Built in 1959, the low-slung midcentury ranch-style house is newly remodeled, with white oak hardwood floors, 10-foot ceilings and Fleetwood sliding glass doors throughout. An open-concept living area marries the fireplace-equipped living room, dining area and gourmet kitchen into one seamless space. (Dirt.com)
According to Taste of Country, Walsh and his wife, Marjorie Bach bought the house for her son, Christian Quilici, who works as a producer for Walsh's annual VetsAid charity. The small but impressive abode sold for a substantial $2.345 million, but, as Walsh once declared: "I have a mansion, forget the price."
