The song is a new version of ‘Talk To Me’, a track from Robyn’s latest album ‘Sexistential‘, her ninth studio record that was released in March.
The new version has been remixed by Larsson and sees her adding her own verse to the pulsing Max Martin collaboration. “The way you move your lips communicates with my body / Heightening my senses, come finish what you started,” she sings.
They debuted ‘Talk To Me, Zara’ live together at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena on July 14 when Robyn brought Larsson out as a surprise guest during the final night of the UK and European leg of her ‘Sexistential’ tour.
‘Sexistential’ was released in March and marked Robyn’s first album since 2018’s ‘Honey‘. In a glowing five-star review, NME wrote: ” There’s no frisson to the self-destruction here, only the cold inevitability of interstellar tragedy. The air of finality is unmistakable – the questing of ‘Sexistential’ is over. Only time will tell where Robyn heads next.”
