“We’re back!” Springsteen said when taking the stage. “Somebody lost their money! Somebody lost their money or we wouldn’t be back. We’ve got to get paid. But I don’t care if you lost your money or you won your money, tonight we’re going to make you the luckiest people in the world!”
“Seeds” was recorded during the 1983 Born In The U.S.A. sessions at The Hit Factory in New York City, but fans didn’t hear it until the summer of 1985 when he started playing it live.
The show kicked off with a pair of 1992 songs that felt appropriate in the casino setting: “Roll of the Dice” and “Lucky Town.” He played “Roll of the Dice” last month at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (which was somehow just the third Vegas gig of his career), but this was the first “Lucky Town” of the year. A much bigger surprise came a few songs later when the band broke into “Seeds” for the first time since a June 2016 gig at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer performed Monday in San Diego and then zoomed back East and made a guest appearance (with fellow troubadour Maggie Rogers) at a show by country star Zach Bryan at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday night. Yesterday, 24 April, was back in California for the Kia Forum show at Inglewood.
The 74-year-old Springsteen was in nothing short of legendary form as he led his mighty E Street Band through a over 30-song show that absolutely held the audience captivated for its entire three-hour runtime.
Wearing a black, button-down shirt with the collar and sleeves rolled up and matching jeans, Springsteen called out, “We’re gonna make you feel like the luckiest people in the world tonight!”
Bruce Springsteen certainly seemed no worse for the wear after making two quick cross-country flights over the last few days before playing what turned out to be a dynamite show at Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA.
The 32-song set of the first gig includes the tour debut of opener “Boom Boom,” “Tougher Than The Rest” and “Fire” performed with Patti Scialfa, and “Jole Blon” is a crowd sign request. Rescheduled show for December 4, 2023.

The Tour is raising money to feed hungry americans.
It’s the fourth time in the last 15 years Springsteen has teamed up with St. Mary’s when the rocker has put on a show in Phoenix. Tuesday had a goal to raise between $20,000-$30,000.
“What separates Bruce from the others is on stage he talks about the food bank and asks people to make a donation on the way out. It really connects with his fans and his fans know that each tour stop that they’re going to be asked to do that. And the response that we get from the fans walking out in donations and saying good things about the food bank, that’s what separates the Springsteen fans from all the other fans,” said St. Mary’s Food Bank Director of Public Relations Jerry Brown.
This extensive international tour arrives on the heels of Bruce Springsteen performing at the 2024 MusiCares Person Of The Year ceremony, the 17th Annual Stand Up For Heroes benefit and at the New Jersey Hall of Fame induction honoring Patti Scialfa. Springsteen has also made appearances at the 81st Golden Globe Awards (where he was nominated for Best Original Song for “Addicted To Romance”), as well as alongside Darlene Love to present her with a Platinum record for “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” and multiple events at the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music on the campus of Monmouth University.
