He also dropped some Thanksgiving opinions. “My main thing on Thanksgiving is not the turkey. It’s the sweet potatoes covered with the marshmallows,” he said, continuing: “And canned cranberry sauce. I don’t want to see any real cranberries in that cranberry sauce. I want it coming out of the can, slice by slice, so I can put it on my plate.”
“The biggest thing is diet, diet, diet,” Springsteen said. “I don't eat too much, and I don't eat bad food, except for every once in a while when I want to have some fun for myself."
Katie and Matt, the owners of the business, were surprised when they saw both artists walking in together at around 2 p.m. and ordering two ice cream cones.

Also Jersey Freeze is renowned for its ice cream, but don't tell that to a young Bruce Springsteen. As a kid, the Boss used to visit the Freehold Township staple, but enjoyed munching on the cones more than the icy treats.
