The late Star Wars actor, Carrie Fisher, will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 4th, better known as ‘Star Wars Day‘.

The news was announced on the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s official website. “Fans will be over the moon to know that their favourite movie princess, Carrie Fisher will be honoured with her star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame! Carrie will join her ‘Star Wars’ co-stars and fellow Walk of Famers Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford on this historic sidewalk,” said Ana Martinez, the Walk of Fame’s producer.

Carrie Fisher 'had affairs with David Bowie and Freddie Mercury when she was just 17' according to explosive new biography.

Carrie died 27 December 2016 at the age of 60 from cardiac arrest.

Captioning a photo of herself and her late mother together, Billie wrote, “It has been 6 years since my Momby died (feels like 2 but also like 705 at the same time?). And unlike most other years since she’s died, this year, these past two weeks have been some of the most joyful of my life.”

Carrie Fisher‘s fame-charmed life brought her into rock circles, but a stormy, song-inspiring intersection with Paul Simon remains the most memorable. Same with Ringo Starr clip Your Sixteen.

Carrie and Paul married in August 1983, and then quickly divorced the following summer – the result, according to Peter Ames Carlin’s new book Homeward Bound: The Life of Paul Simon, of latent emotional issues, too many fights and Fisher’s rampant drug use. But that was hardly the end. In fact, they dated on and off for more than a decade, directly influencing Simon projects like 1983’s Hearts and Bones along the way.

When Carrie Fisher was 17, she woke up naked in bed with the singer David Bowie but had taken so many drugs she could not remember whether they had had sex.

“I think we had sex.” the late Fisher is quoted as saying in a new biography. Bowie was married then to Angie Barnett, although he never discussed her during his on-and-off six-week interlude with Fisher.

The American actress best known for playing Princess Leia in the Star Wars series is also said to have had a youthful affair with Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen.and

She was introduced to the pair after she attended a party with her mother Debbie Reynolds – who had been invited by Mick Jagger.

The actress reportedly had a clandestine love affair with the rock stars in 1973 when she was in London, training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Film historians Darwin Porter and Danforth Prince have made the shocking allegations in a new book on the Star Wars actress who died in 2016 just days after suffering a heart attack.

She also recalled Bowie telling her: 'I’m adored by millions of fans, but I feel at times like I’m all by myself out there on the edge of a cliff that is slowly giving way.'

Mercury had a long-term relationship with Mary Austin but by the late 1970s However during their time together, the flamboyant front man had reportedly also had an affair with Fisher, and the biographers write: ‘In addition to an endless parade of boys and young men on the side, Mercury occasionally seduced a young woman and had a long-time relationship with Mary Austin. ‘Carrie said she didn’t want to interfere with his ongoing love affair, but he dismissed her concerns. “A bloke like me needs extra”.’
