Mick Jagger’s former Marylebone residence—where the Rolling Stones frontman hosted a glittering guest list in the late 1960s—has sold for £5.7 million (approximately $7.3 million), according to Mansion Global. Photogallery on Decor.
The stylish apartment, located on the fourth floor of Harley House near Regent’s Park, was Jagger’s base during the band’s meteoric rise. He took up residence in 1966 and remained until 1968, when he and then-girlfriend Marianne Faithfull moved to Belgravia.
The home reportedly welcomed a steady stream of boldface names, from fellow Stones member Keith Richards to the famously fun-loving Princess Margaret, Queen Elizabeth II’s younger sister.
The flat even served as the backdrop for a 1967 photo session with photographer Colin Jones, capturing Jagger in a military-style coat in the entryway. That image now resides in the National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection.
The property sold in less than 16 weeks after hitting the market in March for the first time in 30 years.
