"I throw knives," Watch in the video, he told Dave Grohl, who dressed up as David Letterman while filling for Jimmy Kimmel . "I pick out people and I put them on my board. And I throw knives [at them]."
Those targets include Kimmel's arch-nemesis Matt Damon, whose face was used for a demonstration on the show.
And Cooper isn't the only frontman with a weird pre-show routine.
"Every lead singer I know has some sort of idiosyncrasy ," he added. "Roger Daltrey fly fishes in his room, he practices. Peter Frampton irons. We used to throw all of our clothes into his dressing room."

"Mick Jagger before the show likes to relax and chill out,” he said. “Just before the show, I get all like, ‘Ahh!’ So, sometimes I like to get everybody out of the room for a minute and just calm down and do my singing.
“I have Bob Marley things that I kind of sometimes do and move around to. And then I do a dance warm-up: I do a couple of, like, current tunes for a dance warm-up.”
On Keith Moon. After throwing food all over the plane and trying to push his way into the cockpit, Moon passed out, woke up, and began to scream. He then jumped from his seat and played the “Lone Ranger” theme song on the PA system. For his finale, upon landing, Moon stood at attention in the aisle, with his pants around his ankles. The other passengers politely applauded.
“Using Larry Mullen on drums was really different,” Cooper told “To bring the U2 drummer into an Alice Cooper world gave us a different flavour.
“Larry was great – he came in and he goes ‘let me see the lyrics’. I’ve never had a drummer ask me for the lyrics. He said ‘I interpret the lyrics in the drums’, and I said ‘well absolutely then – here’s all the lyrics’. That’s how he plays. He really did a great job on the album.”
