Mitch and Janes Winehouse were given the trophy this week on behalf of Amy, who died in 2011 aged 27.
The Camden soul singer received worldwide acclaim and attention for 2006 sophomore LP Back to Black - which spawned singles Rehab and You Know I’m No Good.
Instead, Amy's fans have expressed anger and confusion after viewing a new teaser from the movie, which shows Marisa, 27, singing in a number of scenes.
Many of the criticisms centred around the fact Marisa did not lip-sync along to Amy's characteristic, smoky voice.
"Having an actress trying to mimic one of the most distinctive voices in recent music history is certainly... a choice," one disgruntled fan wrote on X/Twitter.
"I didn't even have to open video to tell how much I hate the way her mouth moves when she sings," commented another.
Film critic Jeff Zhang described the clip as "nuclear-level bad", adding it could be a career-ender.
"Completely radioactive. This is the type of dreck that ruins careers, and I can't believe no one said 'no' at any time during the entire production," he posted on X/Twitter.
The criticism comes after some of Amy's fans had previously expressed concerns Marisa didn't resemble Amy enough to be believable in the role.
"Accidentally watched two seconds of this and turned it off right away when I realized what it was," wrote one such critic. "Cursed project."
Back to Black will be released in U.K. cinemas on 12 April.
An Amy Winehouse music video has been released featuring previously unseen footage of the late singer.
Raw film rushes have been used in the new video for her song In My Bed, which was originally released in 2004 for her debut album Frank.
Winehouse, who died in July 2011 at the age of 27, appears without her beehive hairdo and with her black locks down in the video shoot.
The footage also sees her with less dramatic make-up, such as her typical look of heavy eyeliner, bright red lipstick or smoke eyes, and she is frequently smiling at the camera.
Winehouse – wearing a colourful patterned dress, yellow hooped earrings, little eyeliner and a light reddish lipstick – appears relaxed as she moves around what appears to be a hotel and sings.
It was discovered and made into a lyric video, released on Tuesday by UMR/Island Records, while archive material was being catalogued in the lead up to the 20th anniversary of Frank.
