In addition to the balcony, they wanted to sodomizes a reporter with a banana

On time Johnny Depp and Keith Richards Went Nuts on  the Rolling Stone reporter and  the actor and guitarist get pissed off about a skull ring and ponder sodomizing a reporter with a banana and tossing him off a balcony.

That evening started off OK. With a rouge Los Angeles sky lowering on the horizon, the boys were enjoying their drinks (Depp, a glass of wine; Richards, his customary class-act vodka) and their smokes (Depp, his hand-rolled cheroots; Richards, his Marlboros), and seemed entirely at ease. Till th rreporter srtarted making silly questions. The journalist (supposed to be Erik Edegaard) recals:

"I was sitting there high atop a rooftop patio at the shabby, glitzy, infamous Chateau Marmont hotel in L.A., with Johnny Depp and Keith Richards. I was, of course, all puffed up and chesty. It was just the three of us, cozylike.

"I usually enjoy listening to this kind of harmless, genial plumping, but today my mind began to drift, and I soon found myself fixated on Richards...  Very odd indeed...  And then my gaze came to rest on one finger in particular, the right-hand ring finger, which has that great big skull ring attached to it, the one Richards has worn for decades."

"Vaguely, I wondered if it was somehow connected to the skull ring that Iggy Pop is known to wear. “The skull ring,” I said, “is that one of Iggy Pop’s skull rings or is that a different one?”

During the briefest of pauses, all light fled, darkness descended, and a sudden chill obtained the air. Have you ever been in the woods hunting vermin with a peashooter when a sizable rustling suggests that maybe you’re terminally undergunned? Me neither. But such was the case now. My hair stood on end, and prickly sweat savaged my cheeks.

And under such circumstances, who wouldn’t be feeling good? But it didn’t last long, because Richards took an instant, vigorous, and nearly chemical dislike of me and was soon threatening to stick a banana up my ass."

-For Keith Richards, acting has never been an attractive side career, but that doesn’t detract from his penchant for classic cinema.

"I don't see many movies, especially if you're on tour: or you tired or traveling and, when you’re “in New Guinea  offered as an example, it’s pretty difficult to keep up with Hollywood."

Richards describes his love of classics movie; an important part in his downtime and explained how they cause him to have late nights.

“Some nights ago, I really pissed off my old lady because I stayed up all night watching Sherlock Holmes movies that were on a roll.” His love for the oldies doesn’t stop there. “Silent movies I love,” Richards said, adding, “I write music to them.”

While promoting the Martin Scorsese-directed Rolling Stones concert film, Shine a Light, he ran off a list of his favourite directors to Entertainment Weekly: “I love  D.W. Griffith. Hitchcock. William Wellman, Scorsese,I mean, should I go on? I know my movies.”

Sympathy for the Devi was made in partnership with eminent French director Jean-Luc Godard.

“Godard…I really liked his dark, French-gangster movies,” Richards added in his conversation with Entertainment Weekly. “I think the guy went mad. He’s a Frenchman. We can’t help them.”

Additionally, Richards is ostensibly proud to have worked alongside Scorsese for The Rolling Stones’ 2008 tour documentary, Shine a Light. “I was always very aware of his films from Mean Streets on,” Richards said of the Taxi Driver filmmaker. “I think he’s one of the best moviemakers.” (Faroutmagazine)
