Bar Italia today unveil their fourth long player The Twits via Matador Records. Released only six months after their previous record Tracey Denim caught the attention of the world, the thirteen-track collection was recorded over eight weeks in a home studio in Mallorca.
The country-blues-leaning indie track is the the second cut, following opener My Little Tony, to be lifted from their new album, 'The Twits', which was released on November 3.
The London trio have also announced they will have a show at the Frieze exhibition space at No.9 Cork Street in their home city on October 27. On display will be drawings done by Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi and Sam Fenton that were created at the time they recorded their new album, or that were inspired by it.
Later in October, the band will kick off a UK tour that will include a stop at Brighton's Mutations Festival on November 2. For the rest of 2023, they also have shows lined up across mainland Europe and North America.
In 2024, they've scheduled North American dates throughout the spring, and a London show at Electric Brixton on May 2. Tickets are on sale now, Stereoboard reports.
