Bellah Mae Returns With New Single ‘Salt And Sugar’

Out on May 29th, Mae co-wrote everything on the EP, while production came from Brett Truitt, JANEVA, and Steven Solomon.

New single ‘Salt And Sugar’ taps into those Spring-time feels, with the radiant chorus masking a lyric about being deceived, and ultimately learning to put that behind you.

“It’s a song about that realisation that someone’s not been who you thought they were and feeling bruised for not seeing their true colours sooner,” Mae says. “I wanted to write it from an angle of being both hard hitting and in the feels while also being clever and witty in the title and concept.”
