A street musician in London had a fanboy encounter, but the moment passed before he could even realise it. Chris Martin, the lead vocalist of the British band Coldplay, was recently spotted on the streets of Central London, randomly joining street musician Ahn Ji-hoon for an impromptu duet performance on the band’s hit song Viva la Vida. Ji-hoon, who performs as HannyJunee, was, however, totally unaware of the once-in-a-million event unfolding before his eyes as he was busy singing.
And before he could know it, Martin disappeared, which, according to Ji-hoon, felt like ‘magic’.
Ji-hoon revealed that after his performance was over, onlookers came up to him and told him that the man he had just had a duet with was indeed Chris Martin. ‘When he sang the first line, I thought, ‘Whoa, this guy’s vocal timbre is insane. He sounds remarkably like Chris Martin,’ noted Ji-hoon.
