The California bungalow-style structure, which has three bedrooms and an equal number of baths, was built in 1950 and still retains a cozy midcentury cabin vibe throughout its wood-paneled interior, which the musician apparently appreciated. “Tommy loved that the beach house was pretty much all original,” his wife, Dana Petty said. “I remember him writing so many songs there.”
"When Tom first walked into the home, he just loved the essence and the spirit," says listing agent Chris Cortazzo of Compass. "He loved its originality — it was unpretentious which was very much his spirit. What a luxury for a massive celebrity to walk on the beach and not be bothered."
