In a video shared to Instagram on Sunday, Sept. 21, the legendary "Rocket Man" singer joked he must give Lola Young the keys to his house after losing a bet that her single "D£aler" would reach No. 1 — which hasn't happened yet.
"I’m here with Lola, and I said, ‘Lola, if your single didn’t get to number one, ‘Dealer,’ that I would give you the keys to my house," said John, 78, alongside Young, 24, in the video.
"Yeah, I know. I’ve been waiting," replied the rising star.

"And it’s not there yet, and it better hurry up, but in the meantime I’m giving you the keys to the house," added John, before asking on behalf of himself and husband David Furnish: "But can we stay the odd night?"
Young quipped, "No, sorry. It's mine now."
"Me and my big mouth," said Elton, seemingly nodding at the lyrics of Young's hit "Messy." ("And I'm too perfect, 'til I open my big mouth," she sings on the track.)
