Florence + The Machine announce 2026 North American tour with CMAT, Rachel Chinouriri and more.The US tour kicks off next April
The London band are due to release their sixth studio record ‘Everybody Scream’ this Halloween (October 31), and have so far previewed the project with its title track after Florence Welch and co. had teased fans that the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Dance Fever’ was imminent with a series of eerie videos.

The Halloween-bound LP follows 2022’s Dance Fever and its expanded edition in 2023. Details remain thin on the ground, but the album is up for pre-sale in various formats—including some with bonus tracks and an alternate cover—on Florence’s website.
Florence Welch has posted a series of cryptic album teasers in recent months, including pictures in the studio with Idles guitarist Mark Bowen and a whiteboard that included the phrase “Swans vs. Adele.” Last year, Florence and the Machine released a cover of Walter Kent and Nat Burton’s standard “(There’ll Be Bluebirds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover” for Jack Antonoff’s soundtrack to TV show The New Look.
The group confirmed the LP on social media Tuesday, Aug. 19, sharing the cover art and a short message: “Florence and the Machine. Everybody Scream. The new album. This Halloween.” The announcement follows a string of teasers, including a cryptic video shared on social media last week that showed Florence Welch digging a hole in a field with a dagger and then screaming into it.
Several versions of Everybody Scream were also made available for pre-order on Florence and the Machine’s website. The LP will contain 12 new songs (a full track list hasn’t been released yet), though deluxe editions on both CD and vinyl will contain additional “chamber versions” of four tracks on the album.
Everybody Scream will be Florence and the Machine’s sixth studio album and first since 2022’s Dance Fever. Not much else is known about the new album at this point, though Welch may have dropped a few hints in a photo dump on Instagram back in early July. The slideshow included a picture of Welch in the studio with Idles guitarist Mark Bowen, and another of a whiteboard filled with a mix of mantras and ideas, such as “Clarity = Power,” “VOCALS!!!,” and “Swans vs. Adele.”
Florence and the Machine have shared some new music since dropping Dance Fever, including the 2023 single “Mermaids.” They’ve also dropped a few covers, like a version of No Doubt’s “Just a Girl” for the Yellowjackets soundtrack, and a rendition of the British WWII song “White Cliffs of Dover” for the AppleTV+ series, The New Look. Earlier this year, Florence and the Machine linked up with Everything Is Recorded and Sampha for a new collaborative single, “Never Felt Better.”
