This is the second Jimmy Page doubleneck model from the brand, with a Collector’s Edition having been released back in March. This first offering – which is now sold out – was priced at a hefty $50,000, yet the new VOS version comes in at a cheaper (but still very expensive) $9,999.
This new launch features a double-cutaway one-piece mahogany body, and both necks (12” radius) have long tenons and are hide glue fit. These are both capped with bound Indian rosewood fretboards, and each is equipped with 20 medium jumbo frets with aged cellulose nitrate parallelogram inlays. The 18 tuners are Kluson double line, double ring style, just like those found on the original guitar, and the headstocks feature the correct 17-degree angle and specific logo stylisation found on Page’s EDS-1275.
