Tickets went on sale at 9am today (Sunday October 4), with huge numbers of hopeful festivalgoers joining the virtual queue for the first Glastonbury since 2025.
At 9:42am, See Tickets confirmed that the entire allocation had been snapped up.
“Tickets for @Glastonbury Festival 2027 are now SOLD OUT,” it wrote. “Confirmation emails are going out now. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets this morning and sorry to those who missed out.”
The sale followed coach and ticket packages selling out in under 30 minutes on Thursday (October 1).
Glastonbury 2027 will be the festival’s first edition following its fallow year in 2026, and will run at Worthy Farm from Wednesday June 23 to Sunday June 27.
Rumoured headliners include Sam Fender, Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones, Fontaines D.C., Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Little Simz
The Somerset-based festival took a fallow this year but is set to return in full swing from Wednesday, June 23 to Sunday, June 27 next year.
More recent speculation has centred on The Stones, with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards both suggesting that the band could return to touring in 2027. They headlined Glastonbury for the only time in 2013.
Last month, organiser Emily Eavis ruled out another heavily rumoured headliner in Madonna, who had been strongly rumoured to be performing after the release of her new album ‘Confessions II‘.
Liam Gallagher also recently appeared to rule out any chance of Oasis headlining Worthy Farm next year despite them being the bookies favourites to top the bill at 4/1.
Taking aim at the “croc wearing flag waving shit c*nts” convinced they’re on the bill next year, he bluntly said: “It’s not happening.”
As well as the footwear issue, the flags the festival is famous for seemed to be of great concern, and Liam went on to ask a fan: “Do they encourage CROCS n FLAGWAVING if so I’m afraid it’s NO from ME.”
Robbie Williams’ announcement of two outdoor shows in the week immediately after the festival also prompted rumours that he could appear at Worthy Farm, potentially in the Sunday Legends Slot. Williams had previously said he would “slaughter it” if offered that booking.
Elsewhere, Duran Duran have said they would only play Glastonbury if they were allowed to headline, while Brian May has ruled out Queen appearing, as Michael Eavis “likes killing badgers”.
Last year’s instalment of the Worthy Farm festival saw The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo headline the iconic Pyramid Stage. Other performances came from the likes of Charli XCX, Wolf Alice, Rod Stewart, Doechii and Kneecap.
