Halsey appears to have revealed that she is working on new music in the studio alongside Alex G.
Halsey has not released a full-length album since 2021’s ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’, but she did recently tease a new era with a mysterious website, with eagle-eyed fans connecting details from ForMyLastTrick.com to the artist. The site is thought to contain a number of possible Easter eggs concerning the singer’s forthcoming fifth album

“As of right now I’m approaching it kinda how I approached ‘Manic’. No strict genre parameters or anything. Just making what feels good and what hits home :)”
The 28-year-old star shared a selection on pictures on Instagram and hinted in the caption that a new album is on the way.
Recently Halsey reportedly leaves Capitol Records in “bittersweet” split.
Spokespersons for both the artist and the label are reported to have confirmed the end of Halsey’s time at Capitol this evening (Saturday, April 15). Variety claims that both Halsey’s managers at Anti-Pop and the record company have confirmed the ‘Without Me’ singer and Capitol have agreed to end their collaboration.
The split comes nearly a year after Halsey had voiced their dismay in May 2022 over a song that they said was ready for release for more than a month, but the label refused to drop it. It was allegedly being shelved by the label “unless they can fake a viral moment on tiktok,” Halsey shared in a TikTok video featuring the song “So Good.”
“After eight great years the decision to leave Capitol is bittersweet, but we are excited about exploring a new partnership and sharing new music with fans,” said the pop star’s managers, Jason Aron and Anthony Li, in a statement seen by the publication.
Halsey has yet to personally comment on the matter, with the ‘Gasoline’ singer staying silent on the matter for now.
The star has not mentioned any news related to the separation on social accounts, as of this writing.
The news was first reported early Saturday by Hits.
