The 2026 edition of the Isle Of Wight Festival is just days away, but what is the weather looking like?
As for the weather, the BBC predicts that the weekend will be filled with sunny intervals and a mild breeze, with minimal chance of heavy rain. Take a look at the latest BBC Weather forecast below (last updated 19:00, June 15).
Thursday June 18: Sunny intervals and light winds, with the only likelihood of rain starting at 1am on Friday morning. Temperatures range from 14 to 20°C.
Friday June 19: Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze, with low chances of rain in the early morning. Temperatures from 14 to 21°C.
Saturday June 20: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, with no rain predicted at any point. Temperatures from 15 to 21°C.
Sunday June 21: Sunny intervals and gentle breeze, with a low chance of showers in the evening hours. Temperatures from 15 to 22°C.
Taking place from 18–21 June, the iconic event at Seaclose Park is shaping up to be a definitive highlight of the British summer, blending heritage legends with the vanguard of modern music.
Lewis Capaldi headlines on Friday, Calvin Harris closes Saturday night, and The Cure bring the weekend to a climax on Sunday.
Joining the headliners are Teddy Swims, Wet Leg, The Kooks, Tom Grennan, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, The Last Dinner Party, Rick Astley, David Gray, Rita Ora and Level 42, among many others spread across the weekend.
Beyond the Main Stage, the festival runs across the Big Top, the River Stage, Kashmir Café and Cirque de la Quirk, giving smaller and emerging acts a platform alongside the bigger names.

Rita Ora is set to take the Main Stage on Saturday, 20 June, securing a prime slot just ahead of what promises to be a massive evening led by dance titan Calvin Harris. Known for her high-energy performances and chart-topping hits, Ora’s addition bolsters a Saturday lineup already brimming with talent.
Also confirmed in this final wave are indie-rock staples Circa Waves, the folk-powered collaboration of Nathan Evans & The Saint PHNX Band, and rising stars Overpass, Tom A. Smith, and The Guest List. They join an elite group of previously announced headliners, including Lewis Capaldi, The Cure, and a seismic performance from the Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter.
In keeping with the festival's tradition of eccentric flair, the 2026 fancy dress theme has been revealed as "Galactic Glamour & Space Oddities." Organizers are inviting festivalgoers to embrace "celestial swagger," encouraging a sea of silver jumpsuits, futuristic disco queens, and cosmic adventurers. Whether channeling classic sci-fi or starlit glam, the island is set to transform into an otherworldly close encounter this June.
