Jack White‘s Third Man Records has announced a run of pop-up stores across the UK and Ireland – see the details below.
The label will take over five independent record shops between August 28 and September 20, with stops in Bristol, Newcastle, Belfast, Dublin and Glasgow.
Each pop-up will stock exclusive vinyl, limited edition merchandise, posters and books, as well as a series of homemade “bootleg” editions of White’s records. Each copy will come in a hand-screen-printed sleeve, with all items available on a first come, first served basis while stocks last.
Third Man have said the “bootlegs” come from the mysterious Frozen Charlatan character from the cover of White’s new album ‘Frozen Charlotte‘, with the figure said to have stolen a cache of the musician’s records in order to distribute them at the pop-up events.

1-2 – Dublin, Tower Records
18-20 – Glasgow, Monorail Music
Other than Glasgow, each pop-up coincides with a date of White’s upcoming UK and Ireland tour in support of ‘Frozen Charlotte’. The run kicks off with two nights at London’s Eventim Apollo on August 25 and 26, followed by shows in Bristol, Newcastle and Belfast and two nights at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre.
