The Colombian singer revealed she had teamed up with FC Barca and Spotify to design the shirts on her social media in an Instagram reel. In a video featuring players such as Lucy Bronze and Salma Paralluelo, the team’s signature navy and maroon shirt now bears Karol G’s signature spiked-heart logo on its front.
Players wore the shirts in the women’s football game against Villarreal on Saturday (April 13). The men’s team will also wear the limited-edition shirts in the Clásico game on the 21st.
The video also revealed Karol G has designed some special, limited-edition merch for her fans bearing the ‘KC Barca’ name, with player Lamine Yamal wearing her pastel pink hoodie with her logo on the chest.
Karol G says about the collaboration: “The heart symbol represents what became ‘Bichota’ style, a moment in my life where I found strength, resilience and support. Thanks to Spotify and FC Barcelona, seeing it on the front of a shirt that inspires so much of that same energy is truly meaningful.”
