The actress, who is known for starring in The Big Bang Theory and The Flight Attendant, recently appeared in MGM+ series Vanished with Sam Claflin. (NME reports)
The pair sat down with NME and were asked about whether there were any music stars they would like to play in a potential biopic.
When Claflin suggested his fellow star play Parton, Cuoco replied: “Oh yes! That is a great idea. I am in love with her, I just hear the nicest things about her.
“You know what I love about her? Her and her husband live in separate houses. I know he’s passed, but she always talked about that, they were together forever and I’m like, ‘That’s how to do it.’ Just live in different homes. That’s great! Knock knock, let’s have dinner, let’s go.”
Claflin said of his own ideas: “Just because I think his life was pretty magnificent, I think [Frank] Sinatra would be an incredible story.
“I don’t think I’m right to play Sinatra, but I would love to see that film. I think his story, his alleged ties to the mafia, I just feel there is so much story to tell, and as a singer, songwriter, entertainer, he was such a force.”
Cuoco further suggested that she could play daughter Nancy Sinatra, as well as Debbie Harry from Blondie.
