The reality star, 40, was speaking at the Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 10) when she opened up about her experiences of being judged negatively for her weight over the years.
“We live in a fat-phobic world,” she said. “I have been a drug addict, an alcoholic…I’ve been a complete mess, disrespectful to people, horrible – but I got more shit for being fat than I did for anything else. It’s insane.”
The daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne continued: “You’ll never read an article about me that hasn’t got a comment about my weight. People [would] say, ‘You’re so pretty. Why don’t you just lose a little bit of weight, and then you’ll be the total package’.”

She went on to say that she had “tried everything” to lose weight, including “surgery, medication, diet and exercise”, but “everything started to fall into place” when she was able to adopt the right emotional frame of mind.
“It’s not just as simple as change your diet and move. You have to change your brain. You have to come to peace and acceptance about where you are in your life before you can start.”
Last year, Osbourne appeared on an episode of TMZ Investigates, where she revealed that she was first admitted to rehab at the age of 19, having first began to experience addiction at 13 after being prescribed opioid medication for a tonsil removal.
She described rehab as being “like university on how to be a better drug addict”.
