Kim Gordon will follow her 2019 solo debut, No Home Record, with new album The Collective on March 8. A new song, “Bye Bye,” leads the Matador-bound LP, and you can watch its Clara Balzary–directed video below. Gordon will embark on a short U.S. tour in the spring—scroll down for the dates.
Dense and disorienting, it's the latest preview of the American singer, songwriter and musician's second solo LP, 'The Collective', which is due out this Friday (March 8).
Head below to view the brooding song's accompanying video, which is set in Los Angeles and co-directed by Gordon and musician, filmmaker and producer Vice Cooler. It'll be joined on the record by the previously unveiled cuts I'm a Man and BYE BYE.
Alongside the new song, Gordon has confirmed new UK and European shows, as well as another round of North American tour dates for the summer.
The Sonic Youth co-founder reunited with producer Justin Raisen for the record, which has additional production from Anthony Paul Lopez.
