Lainey Wilson to host CMA Awards for third time

Lainey Wilson is returning to host the 60th Annual Country Music Association Awards.

The country star will mark her third consecutive year in the role, and her second consecutive year as the show's solo host.

The milestone ceremony will take place on Wednesday 18 November, live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

"I couldn't be more excited to be hosting the CMA Awards again this year, especially with it being the 60th anniversary," Wilson gushed when the news was announced on Saturday. "I've had so much fun hosting the last two years, and this one's going to be extra special. Can't wait to see y'all in November!"
