In the accompanying caption, Lana - real name Elizabeth Grant - announced that she is set to release two albums this year.
"Stove is so lovely and intact as it was intended to be - a classic album if I may say, a lot of which we've toured and you've heard - but not all of it," she began. "Thank you to everybody involved. And as the years went by, came a beautiful, secondary album... A commentary of sorts on everything that has been going on, and the patience that was required - and the trust I had to have that not all the things that weren't working was just because of me."
Lana went on to note that she needs "a month to finish putting it together".
"I'm grateful for all my collaborators, I guess it took what it took to finish it," the 41-year-old continued. "It certainly is two of my most beautiful pieces of work, rooted in what I thought would be made out of growth and joy but was peppered with a secondary compilation of songs that sprouted from doubt, hopefulness, and the understanding that new beginnings truly mean starting completely fresh and over. When life decides to send you down another river, it's really not your choice, and it's truly an adventure of its own."
On Fenruary 2026 Lana Del Rey has released the music video for her new song “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter.” Below, watch her traipse around a dark backyard and stick her head in an oven. Del Rey’s husband, Jeremy Dufrene, also makes a cameo.
“This is the one I’ve been waiting for,” Del Rey told her Instagram followers of “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” in a video message earlier this month. “I’m really happy about it.”
“White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” is the third single from Del Rey’s forthcoming new album, which may or may not be titled Stove. She shared “Henry, Come On” and “Bluebird” last year. Other likely candidates for the final tracklist include an Ethel Cain diss track and the still-unreleased songs Del Rey debuted during her headlining set at the 2025 Stagecoach country music festival.

Del Rey has pushed back and renamed albums several times throughout her career, but this rollout has been especially protracted. Del Rey’s last album was 2023’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, but she first talked about releasing a record covering country songs half a decade ago.
In 2023, she delivered a series of country-leaning covers, performing ‘Stand by Your Man’ in September, ‘Unchained Melody’ in November, and releasing a rendition of ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ in December. The following February, she said at a Billboard event that she’d made a country album with Jack Antonoff in Muscle Shoals, Nashville, and Mississippi. Then still titled Lasso, the album was supposed to arrive in September 2024.
In November 2024, Del Rey changed the album’s title to The Right Person Will Stay and set a new release date of May 21. Of course, it never materialized.
In an Instagram Story shared February 7, she gave fans an update on the progress of her upcoming 10th album ‘Stove’ – revealing it is coming “soon” – and revealed that its latest single will be released on February 17.
“I just wanted to make a little message and let you know that my new single and my favorite song – this is the one I’ve been waiting for – ‘White Feather-Hawk Tail Deer Hunter’ is coming out on the 17th,” she said.
She has teased that another song on the record, ‘Stars Fell On Alabama’, was written about Dufrene, the alligator tour boat guide that she married in 2024. “Jeremy is the most impactful person in my life,” she said. “He’s quiet in public, but around me he talks all the time.”
