2018 marks a special monument for Led Zeppelin, as the band celebrates their 50th anniversary this year. Despite no rumors or announcement of reunion shows, the rockstars are celebrating this momentous milestone with the release of an illustrated book entitled Led Zeppelin By Led Zeppelin.
According to publisher Reel Art Press, "Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin is the first and only official illustrated book to be produced in collaboration with the members of the band." A goldmine for diehard Zeppelin heads, the book "includes previously unpublished photos, artwork from the Led Zeppelin archives and contributions from photographers around the world."
Page will also honor the band's half-century mark by releasing previously unheard music from the Led Zeppelin vaults. "There'll be Led Zeppelin product coming out, for sure, that people haven't heard, because I'm working on that," the guitarist-producer recently told Academy of Achievement in a lengthy interview. "This year will be the 50th year, so there's all manner of surprises coming out."
Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin arrives in October via Reel Art Press. Pre-order it here, then revisit Kyle Meredith’s recent chat with Plant in full below.
