Lily Allen has poked fun at the ticket sales controversy surrounding her recent US tour by dressing up as a Ticketmaster seating map full of unsold tickets for Halloween.
The singer shared photos of her outfit on Instagram yesterday (October 30), wearing a white puffer jacket and matching bodysuit covered in blue dots, alongside a black top marked “Stage”.
She also posed with a thermometer, referencing the term “blue dot fever”, which has been used throughout 2026 to describe artists struggling to sell tickets for their live shows.
The phrase refers to the blue dots on Ticketmaster’s interactive seating plans, which represent tickets that remain available for purchase. A proliferation of blue dots has become shorthand for disappointing ticket sales and overly ambitious venue bookings.
The joke follows the singer’s decision to downsize several venues on the North American leg of her ‘West End Girl’ tour earlier this year.
In July, she announced that concerts in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and other cities would be moved to smaller venues, while a planned show in Montreal was cancelled.
Among the changes was the relocation of her Chicago concert from the 23,500-capacity United Center to the 3,500-capacity Chicago Theatre. A planned show at San Francisco’s Chase Center was also moved to Oakland’s smaller Paramount Theatre.
Speaking about the decision in an interview last month, Allen acknowledged: “The ticket sales weren’t there.”
She explained that the original venue bookings had been driven by promoters’ expectations, and that she had expressed concerns about the scale of the tour from the outset.
