‘Tie You Down’ serves as a preview of Haim’s upcoming deluxe edition of their latest album, ‘I Quit’. The newly announced deluxe album is due for release on October 17 via Polydor Records. (NME)
The newly unveiled Bon Iver collaboration is a tender and reflective arrangement. “Put your little heart in me now / Ain’t this how it’s supposed to be? / I want you here / But I don’t know how / Not to tie you down,” they sing in unison on the chorus.
‘Tie You Down’ sees Danielle Haim and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon reunite after the latter roped in Danielle to feature on his own ‘SABLE fABLE’ track ‘If Only I Could Wait’ earlier this year.
The deluxe edition of Haim’s ‘I Quit’ will feature three new tracks, including ‘Tie You Down’. The other two bonus tracks are titled ‘The Story Of Us’ and ‘Even The Bad Times’. Check out the official tracklist for ‘I Quit.
