Dacus and Baker, both members of Boygenius alongside Phoebe Bridgers, have been the topic of discussion among fans for some time now, with eagle-eyed fans suspecting that the two musicians have been a secret relationship.
Now, speaking to The New Yorker about her upcoming album ‘Forever Is A Feeling’, Dacus has confirmed that she is in a “committed relationship” with Julien Baker. With both musicians being individual stars, as well as their shared fame in Boygenius, Dacus is wary of parasocial relationships and is keeping her relationship with Baker mostly private: “It only takes a handful to make your life feel like a really easily threatened thing. I’ve been practicing not reinforcing that narrative to myself.”
However, Dacus isn’t shying away from tapping into her love life on her upcoming album: “It’s been interesting, because I want to protect what is precious in my life, but also to be honest, and make art that’s true.”
Tthe Boygenius member took to social media to share the tracklist for her fourth solo album ‘Forever Is A Feeling’, which is to arrive on March 28
The album has already been previewed by its three singles, ‘Ankles’ and ‘Limerence’ – both of which arrived in January – and last month’s ‘Best Guess’. Per the tracklist announcement, which came with custom illustrations from Nicole Jaclyn Smith, the record will consist of 13 tracks, NME reports.
Among the 10 remaining tracks that fans have yet to hear are album opener ‘Calliope Prelude’, ‘Modigliani’, the title track ‘Forever Is A Feeling’, ‘Most Wanted Man’ and ‘Lost Time’. Hozier will also feature on the album, namely on the track ‘Bullseye’.

Though Hozier is the only featured guest listed so far, it was previously reported that the record will supposedly include contributions from Blake Mills, Bartees Strange, Madison Cunningham, Collin Pastore, Jake Finch and Melina Duterte. Dacus’ Boygenius bandmates Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker will also reportedly make appearances.
