Despite one anonymous objection, tree surgeons chopped down the 'fungus-infested' Norway maple at his £17.5million home in Holland Park, west London.
The former Take That star, 51, sought permission from Kensington and Chelsea Council to get rid of the maple, which his tree surgeon, Michael Goatly, said was afflicted with honey fungus.
However, an objection stated: 'There is no explanation as to why this tree needs to be felled.'
The tree was very close to the singer's boundary wall with the turretted gothic home owned by Page, 81, who has complained in the past that Williams' building work risked damaging his property.
The pair became locked in a property dispute in 2014.
The rockstars, who live next to each other in London's plush Holland Park, have been locked in a bitter row for nine years, sparked when the ex-Take That star lodged plans to add an underground pool to his Grade II Listed home. 
Now the Angels singer's latest plans to bulldoze two trees and chop back another four could spark tensions between the warring houses again.
A cherry tree leaning over a footpath will also be getting the chop as it is felled to ground level.

According to the Irishtimes.com the Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has pleaded with planners not to allow the singer Robbie Williams, his next-door neighbour, to build an underground swimming pool in the latest skirmish in the long-running planning battle between the two musicians.
The pair have been involved in a dispute for about years, since Williams bought his €20 million mansion, the former home of the late film director Michael Winner, in the Kensington district of west London. He wanted to make an extensive list of changes to the house, but Page objected and has kept up his opposition ever since. He fears the construction work will damage his listed mansion, Tower House..
The former Take That singer lives next door to Page in west London and the pair have been locked in an ongoing debate about Williams’ plans to renovate the home he bought from the late Michael Winner for £17.5m in 2013. The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea planning committee approved Williams’ building plans last summer but the dispute has seemingly continued.
Appearing on Italy’s Radio Deejay, Williams reportedly said off-air: “Jimmy has been sitting in his car outside our house, four hours at a time. He’s recording the workmen to see if they’re making too much noise. The builders came in and he was asleep in his garden waiting. It’s like a mental illness.”
