I never got my driving licence renewed, because I never went anywhere alone. We got famous so fast, I just didn't get in a car and go to the market anymore. I miss driving around and listening to music, but now I have to take the test over

According to Stephen Davis, author of Gold Dust Woman, Nicks would sometimes start the song during concerts by saying, “This is a song about an old Welsh witch.”
About being a witch: Nicks says she began receiving letters from people saying she was a witch because of her style and the songs she wrote.
“In the beginning of my career, the whole idea that some wacky, creepy people were writing, ‘You’re a witch, you’re a witch!’ was so arresting,” she told the Los Angeles Times.
“And there I am like, ‘No, I’m not! I just wear black because it makes me look thinner, you idiots."
Stevie Nicks also believes that she was beheaded in a past life like Marie Antoinette through the ‘Tragedy’ She’s experienced. She explained that she felt connected to Antoinette in several ways, including tragedy. She also believes that in a past life, she died in a manner similar to Antoinette.

All my loving: Despite romances with Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and Don Henley, Nicks says Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh was the love of her life.
Nicks also said that times ago, there was nothing more important than Joe Walsh, I would've married. We were probably the perfect, complete, crazy pair.
He was the one I would have married, and that I would probably have changed my life around for a little bit, anyway. Not a lot. I loved him. I really looked after him, and that’s what probably scared Joe the most.
We were busy superstars and we were doing way too much drugs. We were really, seriously drug addicts. We were a couple on the way to hell.

When I was younger my mom said "I totally believe that you're going to be a singer and a famous songwriter. But just in case, Stevie, I need you to take typing and I need you to take shorthand.
Music Muses: When I was getting started, Joni Mitchell was my greatest influence, because songwriters were the ones who I really emulated, and she was the best of the songwriters.
But I don't really listen to her anymore. Now when I sit down at the piano, my influence comes from people who aren't musicians, a friend calls me up in tears about something that's happening to her and that'll influence what I write.
