In the clip, an unidentified man wearing a “Who The Fuck Are The Cockroaches?” T-shirt puts on a white label 12” record and sits down to listen. The track opens with a dirty blues electric guitar riff, and it cuts off just as the unmistakable sound of Jagger’s voice says: “Do it!”
A mysterious vinyl-only white label release issued under the pseudonym The Cockroaches, now revealed as the Rolling Stones’ new single. This highly limited collector’s edition was distributed exclusively through selected independent record stores worldwide as part of a secret teaser campaign.
Limited to just 1,000 numbered copies worldwide, this release is a single-sided 12-inch white label pressing housed in a plain white sleeve and issued in its original resealable outer sleeve with barcode sticker and numbered hype insert. Lacquer cut by Ryan K. Smith (RKS) at Sterling Sound Nashville, this pressing carries the coveted “RKS STERLING” deadwax marking — a hallmark of top-tier audiophile mastering.

In a nod to their early days, The Stones have been teasing the music under their previous name The Cockroaches, with posters spotted featuring the name, with the band historically used for surprise, intimate gigs.
There are rumours swirling that The Rolling Stones may be gearing up to drop new music or play a surprise gig in London. (NME)
The album is reportedly set to be called Foreign Tongues, and will be preceded with a new song, titled Mr Charm, which is expected to be released on Saturday.
While Mick Jagger, 82, Ronnie Wood, 78, and Keith Richards, 82, will reportedly line up performances to promote the album, there are no plans for a tour.
After joining forces with Andrew Watt for their 2023 album Hackney Diamonds, the Rolling Stones previously said they'd recorded 23 songs, and they kept 11 in the 'back pocket' for their follow-up album.

As highlighted by journalist and broadcaster Matt Everitt, the name appears to be one that the rock giants have adopted in the past as a pseudonym. In the early ‘80s, they played a secret show under the alias ‘Blue Sunday And The Cockroaches’.
The album will also reportedly feature some of the final recordings of late drummer Charlie Watts, who died in 2021, aged 80.
Fans were previously treated to hints at the upcoming album after signing up to receive Whatsapp updates from The Cockroaches.
As highlighted by Everitt, the text on that sign-up page is similar to that seen in an old, famous photo of Ronnie Wood, in which he is seen wearing a shirt that reads “Who the fuck is Mick Jagger?”.
