The “landmark” two-hour movie, produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, is due for release in cinemas worldwide, including IMAX, on September 11. It is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, known for the LCD Soundsystem doc Shut Up And Play The Hits.
Oasis reportedly set for huge 2027 UK and European tour – including Knebworth and massive Manchester residency
The reports of a residency in their hometown arose in the Manchester Evening News, claiming that the band were booking out the Etihad Stadium – home of Liam and Noel Gallagher’s beloved Manchester City FC.
“It will be 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across May and June. It’s just massive for Manchester and for the local economy,” a source told the outlet, also hinting at live shows at Knebworth.
“They could even add more dates to that as well there’s talk of up to 20. The wider tour is also going to include a return to Knebworth,” the source said.

Liam Gallagher has been spending time in Rome this week where he happily met a bunch of fans eager to find out the latest on future Oasis plans.When asked by one if the band would come back to play Rome. next year Liam replied: "without a doubt".
Rome City Councillor Alessandro Onorato spilled: “Oasis in the capital? These are live shows for companies that organise events all over the world, and the financial aspect is crucial. Negotiations are underway."
Last year Oasis avoided Europe, only playing gigs in the UK, Ireland, Americas, Asia and Australia.
On November 23 -2025, the Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher and co. closed out their 41-show comeback tour across 145 days.
The final show of their gargantuan return run saw them perform for a second night in São Paulo, Brazil.

The entire tour has seen the band perform the same setlist across all 41 dates, and their final show as no different, delivering to fans a supersonic mix of their greatest hits. As usual, they kicked off with ‘Hello’, before diving into ‘Acquiesce’ followed by ‘Morning Glory’ and more.
Other hits they’ve played across the trek – including Cardiff, seven dates at Wembley in London, six at Heaton Park in Manchester, two in Ireland, five in the United States, five across Australia and two in Japan among others – were ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’, ‘Fade Away’, ‘Supersonic’, ‘Roll With It’, ‘Half The World Away’, ‘Slide Away’, ‘Live Forever’, ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’, ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’.
